Downloading firmware 3.1.2 windows for restore

I am having a problem trying to download firmware iphone2,1_3.1.2_7D11_restore, when I extract it I dont get a nice package to open with my itunes, all that is in the folder are a bunch of files, and an .ipsw files is not there, what am I doing wrong, every edge suite that I download I get the same thing, no .ipsw file. An I missing a step? Please help

Download it with Firefox. Other browsers have a tendency to change it into a zip file. There's only supposed to be one single ipsw file.
