Transfering contacts from iphone to another phone

i know you all may know now that the iphone stores its contacts on the phone and not on the sim card. I am switching from my iphone to a regular phone (sony w580) and i want to know how do i transfer contacts from my iphone onto my simcard so i can then transfer them to my sony phone?

If you have a mac, i'd say sync to your address book, then sync your sony phone back with your address book?

If you have a PC I'd suggest the same.
Surely you synch your contacts to your computer?
You can't copy your contacts to your SIM card.
