iPhone 4 vs Evo 4G
First lets look at specs than analysis.

iPhone def has the better /quality/ display with a higher resolution. Bigger is not always better. Many reviews I have read say the size of the Evo screen just makes the phone too big and bulky in your hand and your pocket.
Processor is the same... BUT... reviews say Android 2.1 on the Evo is laggy and slow. Speculation says Android 2.2 will be better... we shall see. Apple's OS is extremely smooth an efficient.
Weight - The EVO is 25% larger and heavier than the new iPhone.. the slimmest smartphone in the world.
Camera - Both have dual cameras with a flash. More Mp doesn't mean better quality pictures. Time will tell which one takes better /quality/ pictures. The iPhone has integrated movie editing which is a plus.
Video - Both have 720p but the iPhone 4 wins with 30 fps.
Conferencing - Both have pros and cons.
Sensors - iPhone 4 wins with it's 6 axis sensing ability
Battery Life - Evo is rated MUCH higher than the tech blogs have tested. General use is less than 1/2 a day on many reports and that's with 4G disabled. CNET says less than 4 hours with 4G on all the time under moderate use.
Cellular Network - 4G vs 3G. I have done a lot of reading on this and while 4G is /theoretically/ faster... in MOST cases a 3G HSPDA 7.2 network beats Sprint's 4G network in field tests on both T-Mobile and AT&T.

Wi-Fi - iPhone 4 wins with 802.11n capability.Last edited by Poseidon79; 06-08-2010 at 09:31 AM.

I wish I had a miniature elephant that fit in the palm of my hand. I would pick him up and he'd lift up his trunk and stand on his back legs and say PRRRRRRRRRRRRMMMMMMMMMPPPPPPPPPHHHHHHHH and I would say yes little elephant i love you too.

Yeah this is basically showing you can't pass judgement just based on specs alone. The user experience and real world tests tell the true story.

word, and 4g has a limited roll out at the moment so unless you are in one of those citys (im not) its only sprints network, and from every one iv known in connecticut and florida there service is fail. It could be better now seeing they have lost a million customers in the past few years
