It is the same as the iPad. Putting it against another processor may not apply. I say this because the iOS is built to run perfectly on the iPhone; you can say optimized for it. As android is built for many devices.

Apple does the same for OSX. It is built to run perfectly for their hardware.

thanks. yea my friends who have M-droids dont impress me. they're still very laggy. the only smooth one ive played with is the HTC incredible.

i wouldnt go as far as to say its a complete fail... i would say motorola is a fail. the snapdragon looks pretty quick on the evo and incredible. but nothing will ever beat the iphone IMO. im gonna have to agree with cerote. the fact that the OS is tailored to just one device is what sets the iphone apart.
