Text messages have the wrong time?

Text messages being sent to me are arriving with the wrong time attatched to them. If I get one at 11, it shows up as arriving at 8. Any ideas? Also, I'm currently at 1.1.3. unlocked and jailbroken with ZiPhone, what is the best method to upgrade to 1.1.4?

3 hours off. sounds like maybe you should check the date and time settings in your settings application

you can upgrade to 1.1.4 using either iplus or ziphone. i prefer iplus but everyone's different.

I dunno about that, I've checked my date and time settings and they seem pretty good, I've also synced my phone... I haven't had this problem before but I don't know what the problem could be. My date and time is right but my incoming text messages dont know wha the hell time it is...

then since you're considering going up to 1.1.4, see if that'll fix the problem. not sure what options are available...

I have a similar problem.

My incoming text messages are exactly 5 hrs off. When i send the message at 10:30 AM it will say 10:30 AM but when i recieve it, it will be 5:30AM.

I've checked all settings and time zone support is set to EST.

I called my providers tech support about the problem and after speaking to them and apple directly, they can't figure out why.

I am currently running 2.2 firmware 3G phone
