    Default 8 phantom gigs appear

Im not sure how this happened, but after plugging my iphone into my laptop, and all of my music erasing, I plugged it back into my desktop computer, and something is now taking up 8 gigs of space on my iphone.

I cant tell what it is because in itunes, it shows the colored bar on the bottom, and the 8 gigs is orange (which is the "other" catagory).

I went thru and I dont have anything that I put on that would be 8 gigs.

Is there a way I can find out wtf is taking up all of this space?

Why would rock throw on 8 gigs of nothing?

Is there a good thread that explains the sshing process? I only did that one time and for the life of me I cant remember how to do it again.

I had this issue a couple of times which I could only fix by restoring.

I could never figure out what happened to mine. I simply restored to clear the issue.
