I just bought a i phone 3GS from ebay but when it arrived i couldnt get a signal with my voda card, so i used spirit to jailbreak it all went well on further reading i found out u cannot unlock a 3gs on 3.1.3 so i stupidly did a restore without reading up about it and now i have a Iphone with
NO SIM card Installed
Insert a valid SIM with No PIN Lock to activate IPhone
Iput my voda payg card in it and im still getting the same thing what can i do?
Is it stolen?
Is it locked to a certian network if so how can i find out?
Phoned apple and the told me what service provider it is with sorted now

Phoned my service provider and its not blacklisted but i need to know who the service provider is any ideas how to do that?

The box usually indicates doesn't it? Mine came from eBay and it had AT&T's logo on it. My friend's didn't have the AT&T logo but it was from Canada. She found out online by entering her phone's serial number (I think?) but I have no idea how she did that. Search Google I guess is all I can say...
