Iphone Itouch question plz

Hello,

I have several Iphones on a family plan and the data part is just getting too expensive.

I was wondering are the Itouches basically the same thing, minus the internet? Can you still buy apps on the app store, is it JB capable for themes, etc.

Yes. It's the same without the phone and data part. Wifi is okay.

The iPod Touch is basically an iPhone minus GPS, minus the camera but with a faster processor.
As with the iPhone Jailbreaking can depend on the model but, as with the iPhone, as of now all devices are JB with Spirit.
If tou can switch to T-Mobile will depend on if your phones are unlockable.
