Scrolling

I was wondering if there was a way to get the home page to scroll north and south verse east and west?
Back when I had my 1.0.2 the application page moved up and down.
Ever since 1.1.1 the home pages scroll or move left and right...

Is there a way to get up and down back or both would be ok?
