How to Brick a 3GS?
Hi,
I'm looking to put my 3Gs into Boot Loop. I recall there was an app to do this from Cydia. What is it called?
Or any other method, if you have any. Know of any critical files I can rename through SSH or DiskAid?
Thank you.Last edited by Aydn; 05-09-2010 at 05:40 AM.

Hmmm.... 1st off why would you want to do this? Unless you are looking at exchanging under warranty???????

College bricked mine. I must avenge my 6 hours spent reloading stuff.

Okay i'm i missing something.
Boot loop = phone boost to apply logo crashes and keeps rebooting.....
Fix DFU phone and reload firmware, re-JB, unlock, etc.
Or is teh app to help prevent boot loop from happening???

It's not your thread, kid.
Maybe you'll learn not to show off by handing your iPhone around the KFC staff room

Not looking for warez/to use that app for it's features just need to get into boot loop.
No one knows what system files are needed to boot up?

Throw it off a bridge. That'll cause it to not boot.
