[urgent] need step by step help

iphone 3gs 3.1 jailbroken and unlocked with blackrain/blacksnow
i wanted to upgrade to 3.1.2
made custom firmware with sn0wbreeze
when i went to restore holding the shift, it started but right before actual restore it stops and gives me error
even tried restoring with non custom 3.1.2 and also gave me error
now i am stuck with a 3gs in recovery mode
i have my ECID number saved, but not on cydia cause it was overflown, i used an app called emailECID, so i have the number
I need my iphone to be unlocked

can anyone tell me what to do, i really need it, cause it was expensive and i just got it.

What are the third, fourth, and fifth numbers of your phones serial number, only those numbers not the whole number

You ECID is not the same as the SHSH blobs.. sorry. When you were on 3.1 you would have had to use the "make my life easier" button to save your SHSH files on Cydia. If you didn't do that back when Apple was still signing 3.1.2 then you're out of luck. If you did do this then change your host file on your PC:

no i got the phone 3 days ago with 3.1 on it, i tried to save the SHSH but it said the server crashed or something, so i wasnt able to do it, but i was able to get my ECID, i wanna save my SHSH for 3.1.3 now but i still cant cause there is no make life easier button on cydia. i was able to install 3.1.3 with 5.11 baseband in the end, whats what i have now

The server is still running... just the notification is turned off. Use the firmware umbrella to save your 3.1.3 SHSH locally and sent to saurik's server.

how do you check to see if you already have it in the server? cause i might have done it already
