    So tonight I needed to restore my iphone from a backup for reasons im not allowed to say in the forums.

    Just wanted to know if my iphone is still jailbroken after restoring from a backup?
    Cause after I restored from backup it still had cydia and the other stuff.

    anyone know? I've done a bit of searching but cant get a solid answer

    if it still has cydia then I guess it is. Try installing something from cydia. If it installs fine then it is still JBd. If it breaks, it wasnt.

    Yes it will be. I have done it. You will have to in spirit to get your camera roll and stuff back. So BACKUP before Jailbreak....Wait I reread what you posted. I don't think you actually factory restored, you only restored from backup. To clarify restoring from backup does not wipe out your jailbreak only a complete restore will do that.
