Is it possible to remove the names under the Application Icons?

Hi,first of all,i am new to this site,and i already think its amazing,it has so many things

.

Anyways,i woould love to know if its possible to remove the names of the apps that are under the icons? i have seen people having iphones on iphones without the name of the icon/app and i would love to know how?

EDIT:And yes i have jailbroken the iphone, i know a little about iphone "mods".

use winterboard and turn off icon labels

or you can use BossPaper (found in Cydia)
