backup sms for iphone 2g

hey guys,

I'm on a mac and running 3.x on my iPhone 2g and i was wondering how I could backup my sms text messages...kind of the same thing that the tansee software does except for a mac....is there a similar program on the market? Syphone used to work great but not anymore! thanks in advance!

You can SSH into the device and store the files yourself.

They're located in the folder at: /var/mobile/Library/SMS
The /var/mobile/Library is also the folder where you'll find adressbook, mail etc.
