Hello all.

I have come across a problem which I am not sure there is much faith in repairing for free but we can hope.

My current iPhone has an issue where the power button does not work....

However I was attempting to restore the iPhone using iTunes, using the shift + restore method, selected the firmware, and began to restore. The main problem occured when the iPhone requested me to connect to iTunes via USB. This may not seem so bad, however I was away from the machine whilst this happened and the iPhone turned off. Now I cannot seem to be able to turn the phone back on. Previously when it had turned off I would hook up the USB cable and it would come alive, however it seems to be dead now. Is there any way I can turn the phone back on without the use of the power button?

Thank you very much.
Tom
