So my plans are to leave the stock head unit in the car (as a dummmy unit). I will wire a 4 channel amp up to the speakers (easy part). What I need help with is pairing the iPhone(use it as the source for music) to the amp through Bluetooth. I would like to do this without a head unit. I have been looking at Bluetooth receivers like this, or this, but I am unsure if these require a receiver, or tuner of some sort. I just want to hook the RCA cables into the amp, sync the phone and hear the music. What do you think, is it possible, what problems will i have?
P.S. if this doesn't work i'm gonna use a mac mini as a carputer, and control it via remote and vnc server .

Well nobody answered this, but I figured it out myself. I used a miniature bluetooth receiver, and attached it to the amp. The sound is great, and if for any reason I needed to I can control my car stereo up to 100 feet away. Radio looks stock, but really is a bluetooth enabled amped system.
