Share iphone's wi-fi with pc over usb?

hi all,

can anyone please tell me if it's possible? I have tried a couple of tethering guides found on this forum but they don't seem to work. I think because they are about sharing edge connection not wi-fi?

I have jb 2g iPhone running os 3.0

nope. if your phone has wifi than why wouldnt your computer have it, you can buy a dongle for like 20 bucks

download MyWI on your jailbroken iPhone and when u open it, just select USB and turn it on, plug iPhone to PC and enjoy (im tethering now )

I installed mywi but I can't create a new rockid because the app closes itself in about 15 sec

As I wrote, I have os 3.0 and 2g iPhone, does mywi support it?

get MyWi with no rock

Use USB Tethering + 3G Unrestrictor
If you have problems with the Unrestrictor from Cydia - just do some googling to locate the proper plist-files to edit.

mywi with no rock doesn't have any trial, I can't even check if it works on my iPhone
