It appears that the homescreen wallpaper does not function on the 3G.
Folders works perfectly, though.

It's pretty nifty - go into the app rearrange mode, and drag one app on top of another to create the folder. You can rename it and move apps out of it from the folder view. One folder can hold 12 apps (at least on the 3G, probably the same for the 3Gs).

auto correct feature has changed , now u get the red lines and when u tap the work a list of words appears

I saw a character counter in the messages settings, but when i apply it doesnt seem to show in the messages app
threaded mailboxes and a universal inbox is very nice

Oh mann..just when I heard from Steve that the 3G wont support the Multitasking I was like crying, but I knew it from the beginning already..So TIME TO SELL THE ****..cause what is coming is a BEAST of iPHone..

Changing wallpaper is broken. Some settings are missing but I still love it! Wouldn't go back to 3.x.x. Folders are spring-loaded! You can kill an app by invoking the app switcher and then holding on the app icon for a few seconds.

anyone notice that digital zoom and the "places" feature are broken? going to places crashes photos.app, and digital zoom puts an overlay of a regular picture. its hard to explain, if someone wants me to put up a photo of it i will.

5x zoom works here, but the outcome is pretty ugly; I assume their not completely finished tuning it yet. But I do get the same crash using the places feature.

Not sure if everyone would consider this a feature, but the iPod now looks different, that shuffle button is pretty convenient:
