Possibe to have both cydia and icy?

First off, im not sure if I have posted this in the right catorgry,or even the right forum, sorry if not.

My question is, is it possible for me to have both cydia and icy installed on my iphone 3G?

I ask because although I have seen icy on cydia, i was sure i remember reading somewhere that the two did not get along with each other?
