Question about travel with iphone

if i am traveling with iphone without my computer to back it up or sync with i tunes and the iphone decides to lock up or something. how can i reset or get the iphone working again? can i simply use another person's computer with itunes to work on the phone? do i have to travel with a computer to have a backup available?

You can use another computer to reset it, but you will lose everything on it currently, including contacts. It's only allowed to sync to one machine. However, if you are determined to travel without your computer and this happens, you can always resync it to your machine when you get back and recover your lost data.
