Issue with Status Bar - Please help!

For some reason on a couple of my apps the status bar is messed up. The 2 apps I've noticed so far is DirecTV and USA Today, as you can see in the picture. Does anyone know what the heck is going on and how to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

ive had problems like this caused by old winterboard themes where a background 'seeps through'.

i changed my theme / disabled winterboard

I love my theme, I guess I will just deal with it! It's only a few apps right now!

you could try editing some of the PNGs. sometimes all it takes is to iphonenize them.

I am looking through the .png files in the USA Today app. I'm downloading them with Cyberduck onto my Mac, but for some reason their all clear. I can't figure out if I'm doing something wrong or what! I know I'm probably doing something stupid!

did you try iphone-izing them?

I don't know what iphone-izing is, to be honest I actually googled it! Do I need to convert the .png to be able to see them on my mac!

it means to make the PNGs specially compressed like the ones in default apps. These icons will be unviewable on your mac. I use a program called "iPhonePNGApp" The new winterboard has an option to do this also.

Thanks for the great app Alek. It helped me, but I couldn't do it by editing the .png's! I actually was able to fix it by editing the .plist file! Thanks everyone for the help!
