I can assure you I have spent nearly an hour searching this forum and others for the answer to this question, and I have found people that claim one thing and other people that claim something entirely different, so I felt I should ask to get some clarification.

Here are the details of my situation:
  • Mac OS X
  • iPhone 3GS
  • Firmware 3.1.2
  • Untethered jailbreak done using BlackRa1n

Can I safely upgrade to iTunes 9.1 and still be able to sync my iPhone with iTunes, or not?

Seems like a people cannot sync with iTunes if they have a tethered jailbroken (BlackRa1n) iPhone, or if they are using iTunes on a Windows computer... though my situations varies slightly and I can't find definitive advice one way or another about my given situation...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!
