How to fix the WIFI-disconnection problems for 3.1.3

Hi!

Yesterday (and first day of usage) i discovered that there was something wrong with my WIFI, it kept disconnecting from the router the same second data was starting to transfer it changed back to 3G.


I googled alot and people had different things that worked for them.

None of them worked for me.. So I mixed their ideas with my own and THAT worked.

Guide is in 4 parts


So here is how I did:

Step 1
1. Go to Settings
2. General
3. Reset
4. Reset Network Settings

Step 2
1. Go to Settings
2. Network
3. Cellular Data Network
4. Reset Settings there

Part 3
Turn off your phone

Part 4
1. Reset your router
2. Give it a NEW name (not same as the old one)
3. Give it a NEW password (not same as the old one)
4. When you are done with all the routerthings, start your phone, enter the WiFi.

This time, you should be staying connected


I hope this works for others too, I've read so many weird ways to fix this but non of them are constant.


I did those 4 steps this morning at 07:00 (Swedish time) and now 09:40 I am still connected

Still connected, and I've been out driving too, when I came back home again, it connected to the wifi..
