Wink Using Pda Net, secure page access error on pc while tethering
    Hi,

I'm using Pda Net on my iPhone 3G to tether my laptop to use the internet. I can go to most pages just fine, but sometimes when I try to go to a website that is secure, it will not allow me to go past the login page and it give an error such as:

    The connection has timed out

The server at login.facebook.com is taking too long to respond.
    * The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
    moments.
    * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
    connection.
    * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

This did not happen when I was using a regular wifi connection. Can anyone help me out?
    Thanks

The app works fine. Works fine in safari on the phone as well. I am tethering at the moment because my Internet was cut off so it's only temporary.

Someone suggested to me that it may be my firewall (obvious huh) Which is standard windows firewall. I am going to try turning it off to see what happens when I get home this afternoon and then I'll report back.
