slight border around iphone screen normal?

Dont know why I didnt notice it until today but is it normal on all iphones to ahve a slight blank border around the whole screen, around the edges? It more noticable under bright lights or outside and such. Thanks

yep normal, the digital screen just just a tad smaller then the opening of glass for the case
