Default iPhone 3G shows no sign of power
I went to sleep last night with the phone at about 20% battery (I was not at home). When I awoke today, it was dead entirely and showed no signs of power whatsoever. I have since gotten ahold of a couple of cables and neither one seems to charge it whether connected to the wall or computer. The strangest part about this to me is that it had no issues up until this.

First just to make sure you're not overlooking this issue, try holding the power and home button sane time for 10 seconds. See what happens

I should have covered that. Yep, tried that. I can't get a response out of the phone at all. No apple logo, no loading circle, no dead battery and lightning bolt, just nothing.

I've additionally tried holding both buttons while plugging it into the computer, supposedly that helps some people, but I saw no change. I also attempted rebooting the computer while the phone was plugged in, but that did not help either. Neither iTunes nor my computer can see it.

About 4 months. This is my second. The first was replaced at an apple store when the dock port on the phone stopped working.

Edit: That means that it is most likely refurbished, right?
