Default iPhone 3Gs not ringing/can't hear the person on the other end
I have a jailbroken iPhone 3gs. I haven't had it long, maybe a month or two. I have started noticing that my phone doesn't ring or vibrate sometimes. However, I can tell I am getting a call by looking at the screen. Other times, it rings and vibrates normally, but when I answer it, I hear nothing on the other end.

The ringer isn't the only case either. Every sound that comes out of the speakers is very, very feint. The slide to unlock, music, everything is quiet. This has happened almost every day for the past week it seems, and the only way I was able to fix the situation was to restart my phone. After I restarted it, everything was back to normal.

I don't know if it is a speaker issue, network issue (AT&T btw), or both.

Anyone know what is going on?

I would probably rule out network issue. Since a reset fixes it I would say software issue.

Okay. Well I might also add that this type of thing only happens at night... I have never had it happen during the day, so who knows.
