EEEEKS!! HELP Plz! 3gs eating it's own drive space...

Hey everyone!

My JB 3gs on 3.1.2 is giving me issues. I got a warning today of low disk space on my phone. Knowing the last time I synced, it showed 4gb available...something was up. Anyways..I came home and synced, got an itunes error, unable to sync, no space available. So, I started deleting some apps, movies, etc.. freed up just under 2gb. Synced. Another low disk space warning on the phone, and Itunes showing 0kb free again... WTF????

Ideas on what's causing this, and what I can do to fix?

Restore option..I know 3.1.2 is no longer supported..so what are my options here?

EDIT: Now, it's completely non-responsive to both buttons & touch screen.

Search and you shall receive. But this issues has been rising the past couple days. Apparently it is linked to Rock. RYP log keeps writing "wrote zero bytes" continuously Is a thread talking about it and has a fix.
