I'm using a 3GS running FW 3.1.2 jailbroken with Blackra1n. Due to a series of mishaps, the terminal app now crashes on launch, as does Rock. I cannot SSH, and whenever I open Cydia, I get the error message "Could not open lock file /var/lib/apt/lists/lock - open (13: Permission denied). Whenever I try to install or reinstall anything from it, it returns the error "Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (2)."
By now I'm fairly certain that the issue is with permissions, but as I can neither use the terminal, nor SSH, nor repair either of the two through Cydia, I'm not sure I can fix the problem. Please help, does anyone know of a separate way to access the files on the phone? I could always just restore the phone and jailbreak again, but I don't want to go through the hassle and lost data if I don't absolutely have to. Also, everything except the problems I mentioned seems to be in working order.

I guess you don't have iFile either? Other than that, I have no suggestions.

Correct, unfortunately no iFile. However, iTunes and the appstore work perfectly, no matter how little I use them. Perhaps I could use the SDK to make a program to change the permissions systemwide, then install it via iTunes? I don't know though, because I've never used the iphone SDK and have barely any programming experience.
I don't suppose anyone could lend me any advice on how to do this, or even if it's possible? Or, of course, if there's a better way.
