Easily delete contacts?

Is there any easy way to delete contacts? I have a LOT of them I want to delete, but want to be able to do it directly from the phone. And it takes WAY too long to go into each contact then scroll down to the delete button.

Anybody know of any easy method or easy app to simplify deleting of contacts?

If your synching your phone with a PC,,, and outlook,,, just delete them there and then sync
