My iphone 2g (unlocked and jailbroken) lower part of the touch screen is not working and I can't unlock the screen to get into the phone. I have a new digitizer on order, but until that gets here I would like to try and adjust the screen sensitivity as seen in this thread BOTTOM TOUCH SCREEN not WORKING/How do I virginize but I have no idea how add the plist file ReVan is talking about. And after that can I control my phone thru my computer to adjust it? If someone could dummy it down for my I would really appreciate it.

You need to learn how to use SSH mate, that'll help you out alot

Ok... second question. If I can't open my phone how do I find out the IP address?

And back to the original question how do I install that darn plist file on to the phone.
