help with iphone

I'm looking at getting an iphone 3g but was wondering does it have route by route sat nav on it without paying any extra to get it?

And i was wondering whether it was best to buy the iphone seperate then get a pay monthly sim contract or try get a pay monthly phone deal, if so does anyone know any good pay monthly deals with 300-400 mins unlimited internet and unlimited texts for around £30 a month?

I dont know about the plans, but the only free turn-by-turn navigation app for the iPhone that I know of isnt in the App Store, its actually in Cydia and its called, xGPS and I think its hosted by MMi...

Waze is another free app that offers voice-assisted turn-by-turn directions, though the quality of its navigation kinda depends on where you are.
