Ok I have a 16GB 3GS with the old boot. Its been working perfectly fine until something weird happened last night. I tried to install updatr plugins from a repo but I forgot it was already installed from a different repo. So it showed an error. I go to restart the phone and I have the verbose boot thing turned on.....
Half way through it says it has to do a full NAND restore and does that in like 10 seconds....then it does all these checks and the Volume bit and Volume header chk was off and it said Volume header needs minor repair(2.0)
The phone boots up something is eating up the RAM and it rarely responds to any touch command. I do a DFU Restore....It works fine but when I turned verbose boot back on it says the same thing. It takes a while to start up but it eventually starts and works fine.
Did I somehow screw up my boot file?
ok update...... When I restart the phone with SBSettings then it never says anything wrong during the verbose boot...it starts just fine. But when cydia restarts it or I do a hard reboot with the two buttons it says it. Is this normal at all?
