    Or a place that will sell very high quality housing?

    The only "high quality" housings you'll find are OEM.

    And there arent really very many places to get them, google or check ebay is the best bet.

    Ive seen people selling them on amazon and ebay, But i get the feeling that they are all fakes from china...

    Yeah you just gotta make sure your buying from a reputable seller. If it is OEM, the cheapest Ive seen them runs about $50 and up.

    ive done screen replacments before, what would be th difficulty of doing a full housing swap?

    time consuming...especially removing the headphone jack ribbon which is glued on so beeeeeeeee careful
    plus theres alot of little screws that u dont wanna loose
