hi all newbi help please
i have an iphone 3g firmware 05.12.01 version 3.1.3
can i do any unlocks or jailbreaks with it and if i can whats the benifit of doing these, thanks in advance

I agree search is your friend
other then that it gives you more control over how you want to use your phone, if you want to get a little more technical then JailBreaking is a great idea, but from the free apps and customisation point of view its a definate thumbup as well but just be careful if your doing alot at once

It is about customization and being able to use the phone to it's full extent. It is not about stealing other people's hard work.
