Default Iphone 3GS resprings then crashes

Ive been having this problem for a few days now. Ill respring my iphone and itll take about to minutes and then it crashes and goes into safe mode. I have to run blackra1n to get it running again. now just recently the appstore has gone missing from my springboard. I want to restore my ipod but cant because of the 3.1.3 update. Any ideas on whats wrong or what i should do?

Restore it, doesnt matter about 3.1.3 unless you want to be 'unlocked'

wipe it and start fresh sounds like an app is causing the problem mate

If it runs in safe mode, then it means that there is a Mobile Substrate plugin that is crashing. So, what you need to do is consider what you have recently installed, and if you have SBSettings, just turn off the dylibs (at your own risk) until you find the culprit. Then promptly send your Syslog to the proper dev :-)

    Uh, what?

You can't jailbreak a 3GS on 3.1.3 so he definitely shouldn't just restore it.

in that case download the 3.1.2 ispw and hold shift when clicking restore so you can select the restore file you weant to use and try it that way, thus avoiding having to update
