Bricked 3GS (blacksn0w X push X cydia)

Hi all,

I am very frustrated by my frequently bricked 3GS. I have tried jailbreaking with all three: blackra1n, redsnow, pwn but I could only unlock with blacksn0w because I am on the 5.26 baseband. So after JB/ unlock, I installed cydia apps and fix the push issue. Every time I did a network setting, it would brick.

Did anyone have the same issue? that they had blacksn0wed, also had push, and some cydia apps (I know it's hard to pinpoint what cydia apps cause this), and whenever they network reset, the phone enters that apple boot logo loop.

Actually it may not be bricked, you may just need to do a tethered boot, which is let your phone boot up as far as it will go then run the jailbreak again and it should bootup after a minute or two. "Mine does that" anytime I reboot my device.

yeah, I tried running redsn0w again after putting it back to recovery mode but it is still stuck in the apple logo.

can you tell me which software did you use to tether boot?

you cant unlock the new baseand, and i beleive it is a tehered jailbreak, just wait for 4.0 to come out then the devs will release there unlock jailbreak
