WiFI wont work
Sometimes i can connect to my home network, then it disconnects, so i know its not a hardware problem, but its annoying help?

I have a 3gs iphone and my wifi has also stopped working a day or so ago.
I am not sure if it was after a cydia update or not, but it will not see my home network anymore.
I have not upgraded to 3.13 i am sticking to 3.12.
Might have to do a complete reset, but am going to wait if anyone else knows a fix?
Thanks,

Before restoring, try the simple things first. Reset your network settings, turn airplane mode of and on to see if either of those work.

This is a pretty common problem, it could be a few things. One it can be a bad Wifi Cable, and another is software issue related, and the worse possible cause is a bad wifi chip... You can check and see if the cable is connected to the motherboard if you open it, and make sure nothing is wrong with it, you can even swap the motherboard "logic board" out with one that works and see if it works that way*

I think it's a bad cable, but how can I check?

You can always test your logicboard in another iPhone or you can order a Wifi Cable and test it when it gets in.

I recently changed my adsl modem to a Belkin, and my wifi sometimes disconnects itself after a while.
I solved the problem by switching it back to my previous modem. Now the wifi connection stays reliably.

Ok, had the issue with my 3Gs where Wifi just all of a sudden stopped being able to recognize/connect to any network. I did the following steps and VIOLA! Wifi works again.
1. Turn on Airport Mode, which in turn will turn off your Wifi.
2. Power down your phone, and wait about a minute.
3. Turn your phone back on.
4. Turn off Airport Mode.
Hopefully this helps some of you. It worked like a charm for me.

Thnx, but didn't work for me either. It is not a network issue, as my wifes 3gs iPhone is connected ok via wifi (not jailbroken)
