[HELP} Iphone 3GS screen stays on after a missed call or SMS.
All,
I am running into a weird situation on my 3GS. The phone will maintain the screen on all the time after missing a call or receiving any TXT message. In order to turn off the screen after missing a call or a TXT MSG it is by pressing the power button.
So, if the phone is unattended or if it is on my pocket, it will stay on forever and it is draining my battery very fast.
Any idea what may be causing this? I searched around here and googled it and could not find a solution for this behavior.
I will appreciate any help on solving this issue!
Thanks!

Have you ever had the phone apart?

derrick,
Does that cause any adverse effect against any other aspect of the phone? I am jailbreak and unlocked.
Effenpig!,
No the phone has never been apart or worked on!
It is weird as it only happens when I have a missed call or receive a txt message.

Ok, I was just trying to determine if it might be a hardware issue.
Do you have any kind of quick reply SMS program installed?

Its worth a try. I would definitely uninstall and see if that does the trick. Let us know!

I tried removing the "QuickReply for SMS" w/o luck. I also removed backgrounder that was installed as well. and still doing it.
