3GS - FW 3.1.3 - Cell kept going to a reboot loop upon unlocking

3gs ,Updated to 3.1.3 Firmware. (Had to restore as the cell was on a reboot loop (kept carrying out NAND R/O restore and hence would not come upto the springboard).

[U]Present status is that Firmware 3.1.3 & Baseband is still at 5.11.07 although tried to unlock with ultrasnow and hell it went back to the same rebooting screen loop.(the loop rebooting started intially when it was on the FW 3.1.2 and i tried to use ultrasnopw for unlocking)[/U]
Had to restore again with FW 3.1.3 & Jail break it with Pwnage.

Does this sound that the phone has devloped some serious internal problem or Its just that it needs the correct program to unlock.

Hence presently keeping my cell just in the jailbroken mode only.

BlackSn0w does not work with 3.13 - restore to 3.12.
UltraSn0w only works with BB 04.26.08

thks for the info. but any possibility of my cell getting damaged when i used ultrasnow on 5.11BB.

As it went into a reboot loop .. and kept doing a full NAND R/O restore.

If you had BB 05.11.07 were you using BlackSn0w before? If you use BlackSn0w you should not have used Pwnage to upgrade.
I do not believe there is any permanent damage but UltraSn0w was never designed for and does not work on 05.11.07 and should not be tried with it.
Restore to 3.12 and you should be able to use BlackSn0w to unlock.

first of all thanks to u and wizards like u who spare time for us.!!

the reson I had to upgrade my FW via itunes as I had no choice as my screen was on a continous rebooting. So had to restores using itunes as i had not been prudent of shsh my FW.

Nevertheless I wait patiently for some wizard or dev team to release the magic works in due future.

I just hope there is no permanent damage as previously prior upgrade the screen backlight has gone off on its own too.

I have this exact same problem, except im on 3.1.2. However, I am being told now that using a custom firmware and blacksn0w are not friendly. I keep getting the NAND Restore on boot as well and then it hangs when loading some AppleBCMWLAN files saying my baseband has been reset and wifi is down...

Im on 05.11.07 as well, and have not upgraded to 3.1.3. I would love to try a stock install of 3.1.2 but i dont have SHSH on file.

hi thks for te info. though i am the only one. well I had no choice but to upgrade as the screen would not go to the springboard and kept the rebooting when ever on.

right now although JB using the Pwange tool. the wifi is working fine. But have not unlocked as it agin goes bacvk to the rebooting. Hence waiting for the dev team to be kind soon.
