    Default Refurb iphone

    My iphone is messing up, If i take it to the apple store and exchange it for another one will i be able to jailbreak it or will the refurb have the new bootloader on it

    By now, it will have the new bootloader. I got a replacement 3Gs a few weeks ago, and it has to be tethered.

    It is really a gamble. There is no way of knowing whether it will have the new bootloader or not. I have seem some that have it and some that dont...
