    When tethering to pc from iphone am i downloading more data in total than downloading or surfing on the iphone for the same amount of time or the same site surfing? Anotherwords is there more data showing up on the phone bill for tethering?

    It depends on your service provider, but the usage will be equal to browsing on your iPhones browser if all you are doing is web browsing.
