iPhone Sat Nav USA 3g ???????

Hi guys need some advice please got a 3Gi on O2 in the UK i want to go to the USA for a month on vacation and want to use my iphone as a Sat Nav i have the relevant software but need to know the cheapest way of getting 3G signal?? Cannot use my own provider as it will cost about $1000 in data charges


Can i get SIM card in the USA to provide 3g at a reasonable price? What i my best solution Huh

errr if you can unlock your 3gs than maybe. but i dont know if att offers data with out a contract. if you can unlock your phone, get a pre paid sim and give it a go, but data may be asking to much. But if you can unlock you can def use you phone here but im not sure about data.. sorry, hope i helped a little. lol good luck and have fun in the great US of A
