Recovery Loop

I have a jailbroken and unlocked iPhone 2G, no idea what firmware though.

Anyways my friend recently jailbroke his phone and did all this cool stuff to it with Cydia. I've never been able to figure out how to use Cydia so I just left my phone default.

Than he showed me how to use it 3 or 4 days ago, and after customizing my phone to look exactly how i want it, I opened Installer by accident, which freezes alot, and had to restart my phone and now it's staying in Recovery mode. I've tried about 5 different techniques and no success so far, it's still looping into recovery.

Basic Home/Power technique
iRecovery
iREB

and a couple other basic ways.

With iRecovery, it works, everything shows up as planned and than the iPhone restarts and goes back into recovery mode. it gave me false hope.

I haven't updated my iPhone in a long time so I have 200+ pictures on there I want to keep (pictures of my baby cousin among other things). I REALLY don't want to restore my phone so I'm doing everything possible to make it work. I have both a PC and a MAC so either fix is fine.

Any help? I've tried so many things, searched everywhere on this forum and none of the fixes are working.
