no sound, then having to restore

SO, i have a 32GB iPhone 3G2 3.1.2, I had it jail broken with blackr4in. For the second time since I've had it jail broken, there was no sound, the music was playing but there was no sound. this happened before i even had it jail broken, so i restarted it and AGAIN, it wouldn't turn on and when into recovery mode.
So now I'm having to restore and re-jailbreak.

ANY idea how to not let this happen in the future?

Just so you know you are not alone. Happens to me as well. I think it has something to do with Snappy but that could be wrong. Each time I install it I get the problem.

its the bootrom, we have newer versions or whatever so the blackr4in jailbreak is tethered
