Cydia slow

Hey everybody,

I thought this is the best place ask for help with my cydia. I am running a iphone 3.1.2 jb......about a week ago I noticed themes such as illumine were taking like an hour to download from cydia. I tried downloading other themes and am getting the same problems. Downloading widgets etc are fine but the themes are absolutley dragging.

I even restored my iphone and installed rock, to see if that was any quicker, but had the same issues there. So again I restored and put cydia back on.

Does anybody know what could be causing this slowness in cydia? I have never had this issues before. My router is up to date, my wifi is full strength...I havent a clue what could be slowing it down.
