HELP Calendar entries won't delete

I have tried a google search, a post on macrumors and still no answer.

Calendars and Entries won't delete!

I have an iPhone 3G on 3.1 had two calendars syncing to my phone. One was a CalDAV setup for google, the second one is exchange through my work.

I was experienced issues with not being able to delete or create entries so I deleted both calendars from my phone through the settings. Checked the calendar to make sure all info was gone before I re-added them and the info is still there. I have tried powering off and on, soft reset. Nothing has worked.

I would like to be able to get the info out of there and my calendars reloaded WITHOUT having to do a restore if possible. If not I may just upgrade to 3.1.2

Any help would be great. Don't know if anyone else has experienced this.

According to me,make that files to only read only mode not to the write mode.
