Changing Logic Board?

Hey guys, I have a 2G iPhone that is stuck in recovery mode. I have tried everything possible to fix it to no avail. I was wondering if I changed the logic board it would all work perfectly.

If you can't get it out of recovery mode then you can't check ANY other components so noone will be able to give you a definitive answer.

If it's the logic board that requires replacing then i would throw the phone away or sell it on eBay as broken

Thanks for the reply, I got the phone for free anyway so if I spend £40 on a new logic board and it works then I'd be happy. If it doesn't work then I can always sell the logic board on here or to someone who needs one.
