Default iPhone Carrier Swap at Apple Store

    Hi Everyone

I have a question. I have an iPhone with Rogers here in Canada that is having some hardware issues, mainly low speaker, and wifi issues. I've never dropped it, always been babied...tried restoring and still the same issues. I am interested in changing plans with one of my friends who is with Fido.

If I switch plans with him, can I bring my iPhone to the Apple Store and get a replacement Fido iPhone? Not sure how it work there, but my iPhone is under warranty. Anyways thanks for anybody who would know...

1 - You can not swap carrier on an iPhone if it is under subsidy. (Without penalty)
2 - Even if not under subsidy - it is your iPhone - not the carriers.
=> Switch from Rogers to Fido = New iPhone = You pay new iPhone or sign subsidy contract
    Do hope that helps

Why don't you just unlock your iPhone, and switch sim cards with your friend?
