Keyboard Sounds in 3.1.2

did anybody notice that the volume of the keyboard clicks was severely diminished with the 3.1.2 update on the 3GS? I have my phone jailbroken and I am using the blackberry storm click sound and the volume is much lower than it was when i was still running 3.0 on my 3GS. Even stranger is when i go into settings then sounds and toggle the keyboard click sound off then on again the volume is what it is supposed to be on that click. Also when I am playing a game like before I was playing battleship on the phone and when i got a text and I replied to the text the keyboard click volume was raised where it it supposed to be (put battleship into the background) and when I closed out of battleship the volume went back down. Any suggestions? Anybody else having this issue and have a fix for it?

yea i have that issue too i have the same keyboard click sound i guess the update jus made it weird

I have the same problem, also when im texting the sound will get really low and then really loud...(no my finger isnt covering the speaker!) just recently it actually went completely silent. Restarting doesnt help. I have searched for a fix and nothing yet...I thought maybe it was tonefx's so I reset to default and no change.
